How to Make Moon Cake

Moon cakes are traditional Chinese food for celebrating Mid-autumn Day Festival. They are very delicious and almost everybody likes to eat. Moon cakes are classified by the stuffings wrapped in the flour. In order to make good moon cakes, one needs to be skillful. Then how to make moon cakes. The following steps should be considered.

First, one should decide what flavor to make. There are a variety kinds of stuffings such as egg yolk, sweetened bean paste, fruit, ham and sweetened lotus seed paste, etc. If you want to make, say moon cakes of egg yolk and sweetened bean paste, then you should make the stuffing first. Boil an egg and take the yolk out. Mix it with sweetened bean paste.

Second, mix the flour well with water and knead well.

Then, warp the stuffing with flour and put it into a mold, making it the shape and design we want.

At last, we put the moon cake into an oven. And all we have to do is wait until it's baked well.

The moon is the brightest this night. People eat the delicious food while they are enjoying a beautiful full moon in their yard. At this time, some old people would like to tell many past events and tell the children a story about the rabbit on the moon . The children really believe that there is a rabbit on the moon. They hope to go to the moon and have a look one day.

At this time the people always eat the moon cake, to enjoy looking at the moon, the family member reunite, because that day moon is roundest.There are also many wonderful stories about midautumn festival,too.It comes today! I bought some firecrackers and lanterns.After the big dinner,I hang up the lanterns togerther with my sister and then shoot off firecrackers with my family.It was really funny.We was eating mooncakes as well as watching TV.I had a good time with the big family .I love the festival ,it stand for the tuneful of us.
